After a year or so with Kenny Casanova, in NBW, (under the name of "Mr. Grimm" Mike Bell,) "THE MAD DOG" MIKE BELL has taken a break from the East Coast scene, and fled to take on the "best in the west", to prove to himself that he should be natioanally acclaimed, across America, as one of the meanest and craziest bastards in the sport.  The Dog comes back to Kenny Casanova, every so often, but even THE GOLDEN GOVERNOR OF LOVE, can't keep THE DOG, from his hunting ways. Formerly trained by DAVID SHULTZ and PAUL ROMA, MIKE BELL now not only reigns as UPW’s Heavyweight Champion, but also serves as an instructor at Ultimate Wrestling University in California. ...“It’s very exciting to be a part of UPW,” he said recently. “In my eight years as a struggling independent wrestler, I’ve finally found my niche and my best chance to make it big with the help and guidance of everyone here.”

...The veteran of over 150 televised WWF matches, Mad Dog played top-level high school football in New York then went on to play for the University of Cincinnati Bearcats as a noseguard. All of the pounding in the trenches prepared him well for his wrestling career.
