"The Lunatic" Chip Stetson's one-on-one debut occurred on June 29, 1996 for the USWF in Elmira, New York, and the independent wrestling world stood still. He defeated his opponent, Super Assassin, by pinfall.
Chip is a three-time and current holder of New Breed Wrestlings Cruiserweight Championship title. He is also a three-time Eastern States Wrestling Light-Heavyweight Champion as well as one-time New Breed Wrestling Tag Team Champion with Rod Allen.
Stetsons former tag team partners include other great names like Johnny Kain, Milwaukee Mauler and Rod Allen. He is currently a member of Camp Casanova (managed by Kenny Casanova), in World of Hurt Wrestling (WOHW), and has spent most of 1998-1999 feuding with Tony DeVito , H.C. LOC and former tag-partner Johnny Kain (of the now defunct Canadian Nightmares). Chip has been concentrating on singles, the past year now, as he captivates audiences with over-the-top-plancha's and his finishing hold: a top-rope Frankensteiner.
Stetsons greatest moment in his wrestling career to date, was when he won the New Breed Wrestling Cruiserweight title, this year, after having been sidelined for three months due to shoulder surgery. The injury was originally sustained from Danger, but re-injured by Johnny Kain and His Canadian Nightmares (Shotgun & Militia). This year Stetson, actually hooked up with The Nightmares, and teamed with them for 2 months, until Johnny Kain fired his henchmen, and turned on Stetson once again.
Chip was ranked #389 in Pro Wrestling Illustrated's PWI 500 for 1997 and this year, has been competing mostly in Vermont, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Ohio.
