In 2014, Kenny penned his first published work as a ghostwriter. Kamala Speaks is the official autobiography of James “Kamala” Harris, a retired WWE wrestler who lost both legs to diabetes.
Kenny launched a Kickstarter campaign to write and print the book from extensive interviews he conducted with Harris and many other top WWE wrestlers. Kenny wrote press releases for countless sports web sites and magazines. He also wrote scripts, pre-interviw materials & topic lists and also produced other behind-the-scenes pieces for many sports shows, including the Steve Austin and Roddy Piper podcasts. In the end, the book was fully funded, surpassing its goal to help offset medical costs for a man who could no longer earn a living. For more info, see KamalaSpeaks.
Upcoming books include Brutus Beefcake’s autobiography “Cuttin’ & Struttin'” – Big Van Vader’s autobiography “Vader time” – and a young adult novel based on Dangerous Danny Davis’ life story called, “Mr. X.”
Kenny graduated from SUNY Albany with a BA in English Literature. In 2001, he received his Masters in Education from The College of Saint Rose.
In 2002, while also acting as a wrestling announcer/ personality, he became an English Instructor for a vocational school. He piloted and helped create an integrated English program back that lets vocational students gain English credit in their trade classes like Auto, Culinary, and Carpentry classes by creating of a masterwork portfolio. He still teaches it today, as the longest running integrated English teacher in his school’s system.

RADIO WRITING EXPERIENCE- From 1989-1991, Kenny’s first radio show was for WCHD, Hudson Valley Community College. There he got his DJ chops learning to cut & scratch on an combination alternative rock & rap show. Early to mid-90s, he wrote some bits and became an in-studio character actor for Nikki Neal’s “Nik at Night Show” on Q104, providing voice overs as a bunch of goofy characters and impersonations, most famously known for his spot-on Grape Ape impersonation. He later did the same for the internationally-syndicated ZRock Morning Show with Matt “Sharkmann” Hobley.
WOHW PUBLISHING PRESS – Kenny’s label is WOHW.com. Stemming from the help generated from Kamala’s book, we decided to help other wrestlers as well. This is the ONLY company that helps wrestlers write, and sell their autobiographies themselves. The process benefits the wrestlers directly, not the company, or any middle man! Check it out, show some love, and stay tuned for upcoming releases!
